The first one is Aras an Uachtaráin, the President's residence. Ireland's president, Michael D. Higgins, or Michael D as he is affectionately called over here, grew up in Clare, so he would of course know our smoked salmon.
The second new customer we want to mention is Clodagh's Kitchen in Blackrock, Co. Dublin. It opened on 27 June, and Birgitta delivered the first smoked salmon to her the night before. It is Clodagh McKenna's second outpost of Clodagh's Kitchen in Dublin.
The menu will feature a lot of local and seasonal produce, and will have been influenced - like the interior - by Clodagh's experiences in France, Italy and New York. The restaurant with its understated luxury will be an oasis of calm for friends and families gathering.
