6 June 2014 - The suspense is rising while everybody is waiting for the results to be revealed at the awards dinner next Monday. We are talking about the All-Ireland Irish Restaurant Awards 2014 organised by the Restaurant Association of Ireland (RAI).
The impressive shortlist already names the best chef of each county - from County Clare, it is David Hurley from Gregans Castle Hotel in Ballyvaughan. The Burren Smokehouse is sponsoring the "Best Seafood Experience Award".
Our Burren Smoked Irish Organic Salmon will be used as a starter for the black-tie awards dinner in the Double Tree by Hilton in Dublin next Monday. The starters for the attending 800 guests will be prepared and showcased by Tom Flavin from the Strand Hotel in Limerick. Tom Flavin is a nominee himself, shortlisted as the Best Chef of County Limerick.
