Irish Gin as well as Irish Raw Cheeses take pride of place this year. A lot of talks, tastings (very important!) and other events will be scheduled around those subjects, but we are not limiting ourselves to just those. There will also be very informative and interesting talks on coffee and bees for example.
And for the second time - after our wonderful experience last year - we will partner up with Doolin Ferry to host an amazing Seafood Picnic under the Cliffs of Moher again. On their brandnew ferry we will be gliding all the way along the cliffs and discover caves and sea arches that you would not be able to see normally.
This year, we are also emphasizing the importance of artisan foods produced in the banner county and further afield by offering a wide variety of different stalls. There will be German wines enhanced with Irish turf flavour, honey from Slieve Aughty, farm produce all the way from Italy. A new Lisdoonvarna based workshop will bring a classy touch to your kitchen outfit, and nobody will leave hungry. Delicacies from Stonecutters Kitchen will delight the visitors in the café. Outside, barbecued meats, crêpes, icecream and other fingerlicking good stuff make sure that everybody will be satisfied.
On the Saturday night, the very popular Burren Slow Food Banquet will be held in the Burren Storehouse. It sells out very quickly, so if you are interested, make sure to book your tickets without delay.
Why not make a weekend out of it? Come to the Burren, explore the unique limestone area, visit the Cliffs of Moher, and go to the Burren Slow Food Festival. Sounds like a plan? Find much more information on the programme, traders and accommodation on the website below and start planning!
