Lions Team eats Burren Smoked Salmon

It seems that our Burren Smoked Irish Salmon met with approval from the Lions Rugby Team.

Birgitta Hedin Curtin, the owner-manager of the Burren Smokehouse, was invited to showcase our Burren Smoked Irish Organic Salmon at Carton House Hotel & Spa, a wonderful manor hotel in Maynooth, County Kildare.

Well-known chef and TV personality Richard Corrigan (seen standing to the left of Birgitta in the group photo) was one of the chefs cooking for the players and their support team.

The manor is the location where the Lions Team, made up of rugby players from Ireland, England, Wales and Scotland, train to be fit for the series of matches against New Zealand's teams starting on 3 June 2017.

We wish the Lions the best of success and luck, and hopefully no injuries!
