Music and Food galore at the Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann Inis 2017

Fleadh TV Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann Burren SmokehouseEnnis was busy last week. Very busy. Possibly as busy as it has never been before - and all thanks to music, musicians, and many many people who all enjoyed listening to the many buskers in the street and watching some great dance performances.

The newly built Ennis Market Building was a great venue for the showcase of Clare food products over the whole week of the Fleadh (11 to 21 August 2017).

Members of the Burren Food Trail displayed their products at the little but fine market in the heart of Ennis, and were given an opportunity to talk to Fleadh TV like Róisín Curtin, daughter of Birgitta and Peter Curtin, in the video below.

We added a bit of footage on to the video just to give you an impression of what the Fleadh was all about. The Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann takes place every year, but the location of this prestigious event changes every two years. In 2016 and 2017, it was Ennis' turn to be the host of this magical fun event!
