This summer again, the hop-on, hop-off shuttle bus is making it easier than ever to discover the breathtaking beauty of North and West Clare, and it doesn’t cost the travellers anything.
The free and bookable ‘Burren and Cliffs Explorer’ will run from May 21st to September 20th, 2026, connecting charming towns, villages, and iconic attractions.
Different routes will connect with each other so that you can get everywhere and enjoy the local sights, tastes and smells at each stop.
The free shuttle bus was launched as a pilot project the in the summer of 2025, and after a slow start proved to be a huge success with the visitors to the area.
And the best? When you use the Burren Explorer shuttle bus, you will gain free access to the Cliffs of Moher Experience!
This initiative allows visitors and locals to leave their cars behind and relax in high-seated bus without having to worry about navigating the narrow roads. They will be fascinated by the looks over the drystone walls, giving them new views onto the wonderful Burren landscape.
