Smoked Mackerel Paté

2 fillets of plain Smoked Mackerel
2 tblsp of crème fraîche
1/2 tbsp of mustard
1/4 tsp of pepper
100g of softened butter
1/2 lemon, juiced


In a food processor equipped with sharp blades, put in the skinned mackerel, the crème fraîche, the mustard. Add pepper and the lemon juice.

Puree the ingredients in the food processor for about 2 minutes, or until everything is smooth. Adjust the seasoning if necessary. Fill the paté into a bowl.

Chill in the fridge for about an hour. Serve it with crackers, beetroot or a salad.
