Burren Smokehouse achieved the standards set by Bord Bía’s sustainability programme called Origin Green in summer of 2016 and undergoes regular audits to assure that the high standards are maintained.

Our cold and hot smoked salmon, mackerel and trout are kosher certified annually by the kosher certification from the London Beth Din Kashrut Division.
The Burren Smokehouse is approved by the Sea Fisheries Protection Authority (SFPA), an official agency of the Food Safety Authority of Ireland in accordance with the legal regulations. This approval applies to following species and activities:
