HOW LONG WILL THE BLACK & WHITE PUDDING KEEP?
The pudding will keep fine without being chilled for the time of the transport.

The Black & White Pudding has a shelf life of abt. 2 weeks.

We can ship this product to destinations in the island of Ireland, UK and central Europe where shipment only takes a day to reach the recipient.

WHAT ARE THE DISPATCH DATES?
We send out our products on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays (except for Irish bank holidays). No delivery on Fridays because we want to avoid that orders get held up in a depot over the weekend in case of a delay of delivery.

If you select a Friday delivery date, we cannot be held responsible for late deliveries.

We can never deliver on Mondays (or Mon & Tue for destinations that have a 48 hours delivery period, like for ex. USA), Saturdays nor on Sundays. Also no deliveries on bank holidays in the destination area.

WHAT DELIVERY SERVICES ARE BEING USED?
We use DPD for within the island of Ireland*, and UPS for destinations outside Ireland. Both UPS and DPD deliver door-to-door. The reason for sending it by courier is that postal services would not deliver within the required time.

* Please select "Ireland" as a delivery country if you want an order to be sent to an address in Northern Ireland.

HOW LONG WILL A DELIVERY TAKE?
For deliveries to Ireland and most countries of central Europe, shipments take 24 hours to arrive. For deliveries to countries further afield like the US, Japan, Canada it takes 48 hours. To the UK, some areas in Switzerland and islands, the delivery can take 2 days.

HOW LONG WILL SMOKED FISH KEEP WITHOUT BEING REFRIGERATED (DURING TRANSPORT)?
It will easily keep for 3 days even in warm and hot weather conditions because of the special process it has been submitted to: the salting, smoking and vacuum packing. The sailors of old salted their meat and fish to preserve it for long journeys, and it kept for quite a while (even without being vacuum-packed!). So even if your smoked fish arrives with a temperature that seems elevated, there is no problem with enjoying the fish once you chill it in the refrigerator on arrival.

WHAT COUNTRIES DO YOU DELIVER TO?
We generally deliver to Ireland, UK, all European countries, the US, Canada, Japan and Hong Kong. We do not deliver to Australia nor New Zealand due to customs regulations.

Certain products are subject to restrictions as to where we can deliver them - see note above if applicable to this product.

The range of products you will see on our website always depends on the delivery country you have selected.

DO YOU DELIVER TO POST OFFICE BOXES?
We will not be able to use PO Box addresses. We will always need a physical address to be able to deliver to the recipient.

Also, we need a valid post code, zip code or Eircode (for destinations in the Republic of Ireland). We will not be able to process your order without one unless the destination country does not have a post code system (like Hong Kong).

HOW TO CALCULATE THE FREIGHT?
The freight costs depend on two variables: the destination and the weight. The first kilo is always the most expensive one, every following kilo to the same address gets charged at a lower rate.

Also, the weight is rounded up to the next full kilo (2.5 kg = 3 kg in shipping weight terms). See here for more information about freight. At the bottom of that page, you will find downloadable information on how to calculate the freight.
