The Burren Smokehouse is a family-run business set up in 1989 by the owners Birgitta & Peter Curtin in Lisdoonvarna, Co. Clare. We believe in buying the best foods Ireland has to offer, as locally as possible.
We source exclusively Irish quality raw materials to produce a superb smoked organic salmon and other types of fish in our highly acclaimed, award-winning artisan smokehouse.

The Burren Smokehouse is located just off the Wild Atlantic Way, and according to our visitors, well worth the visit.
We offer a mini food trail which comprises of smoked salmon tastings, the showing of our smoking process, and an interactive journey through time following the legendary Salmon of Knowledge.
The mini food trail continues with the Roadside Tavern and great food and live music. The Burren Brewery inside the Roadside Tavern provides the craft beers for the pub and the Burren Storehouse next door. You can book Burren Brewery craft beer tastings and a tour of the brewery.
